It's the Qur'an. It doesn't get interesting. Tom Send a noteboard - 16/10/2011 01:14:33 AM
It's just preachy, repetitive, stilted and at times completely incomprehensible. It's filled with grammatical errors, factual errors (to the extent one accepts that Biblical figures were historical people), chronological errors (implying Biblical figures separated by centuries lived at the same time), and a crude reductionism of spiritual matters to the lowest common denominator. To make matters worse, that lowest common denominator is, in today's world, often ready to commit violence when these points are brought up, and educated people pretend that "tolerance" means we can't bring up prima facie errors.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius

You really need to post reviews of the surahs in new posts for people to notice. - 15/10/2011 07:29:47 PM 1453 Views
That'd get more views no doubt, yes, but I don't want to spam the board. - 15/10/2011 08:16:23 PM 1542 Views
