A Christmas Carol and Nicholas Nickleby.
There were parts of Great Expectations that I enjoyed but I found it too wordy.
I do intend to pick up more of his books and read them, but not things like Martin Chuzzlewit.
And no, I have no plans for Dickens Day, other than getting my hair cut and buying baby things. He'd probably approve, though, since I'll be doing those things in the murky environs of Leith. (In the gleaming sunshine. I'm a little terrified of this weather.)

I think I can safely say I'll read at least one "new" Dickens novel this year. Hopefully more.

I'm engaged in Jarndyce v. Jarndyce, for all intents and purposes, and cannot spare time.

I want to read Bleak House one day. Mainly so I can feel superior about Scots law. *NM*

Don't forget that the southerly jurisdiction is actually "England and Wales".
