The Hunger Games are definitele worth reading because above all they are entertaining. Extremely easy to read. Great plot- so try not to get spoiled before reading the books because for me the excitement of the plot was the best part.
However, they *do* have flaws. Some small ones and a couple major ones. I'm not sure if I talked about this earlier on this board, I may have. However, the flaws don't detract from the plot and I still wholeheartedly recommend them for a good time.
