I bought the Bollingen series of Dante's Divine Comedy, the one where each of the three cantos is published in two volumes with the original Italian and an English translation in the first volume and MASSIVE commentary in the second. I'll get around to reading that shortly.
I also bought books that should be arriving ANY DAY now from the Folio Society:
The Picture of Dorian Gray
The Spanish Inquisition
The Authentic Gospel of Jesus
The Campaigns of Napoleon
The last one is one that I actually have, but the book is just too big for one volume and the Folio Society edition is three volumes with extra colour illustrations.
Additionally, I got a trashy Russian novel that is a fictionalised account of the Putin-Medvedev power struggle called The Virtuoso.
That's all, I think.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
