Just finished that too, as it happens - bought it in Scotland and read it immediately. It was addictive, but somehow I felt the first one was a bit better.


I read it all the way up to Edinburgh on the train and finished the last bit on the way back (rather than sleeping...hm). Yeah I think the first one was a bit more of a story in itself and this one felt more like a bridge between the first and third. I definitely didn't get addicted as quickly as with the first one, but further into the book I was once again thoroughly hooked and would have been even without the long train journey to fill.
