The other book is completely different. It's The Haunted Book by Jeremy Dyson, published by my favourite independent house, Canongate. It starts off as a collection of hauntings around the UK and turns into something else entirely. I was kind of gobsmacked when I finished it, and grinned for a bit. Don't recall ever having had that reaction before.


I guess it is a pretty small indy house. I haven't read any "horror" stories since my Stephen King days (back in grad school), but I'm interested in giving one a shot after so long!

I'll try to hunt this one down (or just order it). Thanks!
