So what are you reading? What are you planning to read? What will you eventually postpone like all those other New Year's Resolutions that you make each year?

Just got the Spanish translation. Read it in French translation and in Serbian in 2012. Great, great story and I think it'll be translated into English sometime in the next few years.

Other than that, no real plans for individual works, although I may re-read 1-2 of the Premio Alfaguara-winning novels for a reading/review project I'm doing this year.


Finished the books already mentioned above, working on #28 for the month so far. 15 books read in Spanish, 4 each in Portuguese and French, 3 in Italian (might read #4 and #5 tonight), and 1 in Serbian. Getting ready to do a García Márquez re-read/review series for February and after that, might start outlining reads for the WWI series.
