Coptic liturgical texts are in Bohairic, not Sahidic (just FYI) Tom Send a noteboard - 03/03/2014 05:15:00 AM

The differences are not great, but the Bohairic versions tend to have more aspirated consonants where the Sahidic have non-aspirated variants (theta in place of tau, phi in place of pi, chi in place of kappa), and terminal epsilon in Sahidic becomes iota in Bohairic.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius

Although it'll be a bit before I can think of tackling it without parallel texts, this was great. - 02/03/2014 04:24:15 AM 313 Views
Oh...a response. I didn't expect that after 2 weeks, but I'm happy someone said something... - 02/03/2014 04:58:50 AM 307 Views
