Sometimes I feel like Sanderson is a little too in love with his setting, Cosmere and all. Or rather, that he's so excited to show us all the cool stuff he created that the plot can suffer.
That said, I still enjoy the books, and I get the feeling it's one of those things I'll enjoy a lot more once he's 5 books in.
I amuse myself.
