View original postwhich is awful so far. I am very pleased, but imagine that I'll get sick of it quite quickly.

View original postHave to say I had to go back and reread my own review from three years ago to remind me what it was about... but at the time I liked it quite well actually, despite the cop-out ending.

Although it's very easy to see where it's going in any scene because, of course, so many novels have copied the tropes over the years.

There have been a couple of witty lines, but mostly it's overblown prose.
