If Bob Dylan's lyrics count as literature in the eyes of the Nobel committee, why not? Larry Send a noteboard - 13/10/2016 05:48:08 PM

Besides that, basically what Ghav said, I really don't finish a lot of books anymore - I read plenty, but most of it is news articles these days. I sometimes start interesting stuff, like a history of the Hansa a month or so ago, but the chances of actually finishing it aren't necessarily very good.

That said, a month or two ago I tore through We're All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler - despite the slightly disappointing ending, still a great book.

That Fowler book was very good. I got it autographed by her a few years ago at a local literary festival. Oddly enough, I'm attending the same festival tomorrow.

For a guy who used to be "Dylanfanatic" that sounded a bit disdainful *NM* - 25/10/2016 05:21:28 AM 502 Views
