I really liked it, definitely looking forward to the next book.
I was kinda annoyed with all the people that kept calling it a Harry Potter rip off (the whole student at a "wizard school" trope).
I'm noticing that most of the authors I've really been liking the recently all seem to be overweight men with bushy beards (Martin, Jordan, Rothfuss, Stross, Stirling). Is it possible they are all really the same highly prolific man with multiple personality disorder? I've never seen any pictures with more than one of them in it at a time!
