I was at one of my local libraries the other day chatting with the circulation clerk about good fantasy/science fiction authors, when one the librarians asked me to give her a list of authors and books for the library to get (she does the purchasing for Butman-Fish Library).
She gave me her email address and I told her I would put together a list for her soon.
My problem is, over 95% of the books I read I get from the libraries, either from one of my local braches, or on an interloan system they have with libraries all over the state of Michigan (I think I even got one book from out of state).
So all the authors I would normally recommend are already in the system.
So I ask all of you to offer suggestions. Below I include the link to the website for my local libraries so you can see what we already have and what we don't.
What are your recommendations?

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
I've got a great offer from my local library

Heh. If I give you a list, it will be so I can steal them through MeLCat later.
