I really enjoyed Stephen R. Lawhead's series, the Pendragon Cycle and the Celtic Crusades, as well as two of his stand alone novels, Byzantium and Patrick, son of Ireland.


I read "Byzantium" a year or two ago, the only book of his I've read yet. I liked it, but was slightly disappointed with it, since I picked it up expecting it to be more about that intriguing city (yes, pun intended), not expecting all the side journey's the monk made. Still, it was a fun read.
