Of the "new" books, really the last one I really enjoy is the one about F'lessan. Her son really has not written books I enjoy reading at all (seriously, who want's to hear about the danged miners??? WHO?!?! Reading about the watch-weyrs was interesting, but he really did not have to write a whole book about them.)
I haven't read a lot of the "in the past" books, simply because they do not really grab my interest. The only real exceptions are Mortia (is that how spelled? The one about the one Weyrwoman back in the plague) and Masterharper of Pern. Actually, away from the main plot line, those two have to be the best and I actually kind of enjoyed them more than some of the main plot line books. Mortia was just plain good and everyone loves Robinton...and Masterharper of Pern filled in some "questions" the reader may have had concerning the main series. All in all, it was a very well done supplement.
Speaking of supplement, they TOTALLY need to redo their world of pern or whatever supplement book. At this point, it's filled with errors and inconsistencies. It says in it that Robinton was never married and has no children!! We all know that's bunk at this point (those of us who've read Masterharper of Pern, anyways

I do like the recipies in it though. I really need to make one of those pies sometime. Piemur always made them sound so DELICIOUS.
