Some of the concepts I enjoyed are:

The deep thoughts were each an amusement unto themselves.
The redemption and kindness shown through the drug addicted son was one of the few endearing parts of the book as far as the concierge was concerned.
I thought the claiming of a role and playing that roll was an interesting point but taken to the point of absurdity. While you may have liked the brewing of the coffee while drinking tea, I found instances like that frustrating.
The blackmail of the analyst was funny. Does this imply that analysis is only good for the stupid? Furthermore the young girl's mother is obviously undersold.

I am growing fonder of the book in hindsight that after my initial reading BTW.
Everybody was Kung Fu fighting!

Not to be rude but who are you? And I suppose equally important, where are we?
