and pretty much rips its way out of her. Edward has to give her an emergency c-section (with his teeth, since apparently there was not anything resembling a "knife" or "scalpel" or perhaps "scissors" to be had). Oh and then she HAS to be made a vampire, or she'll die. She's of course, the very model picture of a vegan vampire. Because characters with struggles are boring, as we all know.
