I am full of hope that this will be an excellent start to the Russian Book Club. So many wonderful national literatures out there that people hear about but don't necessarily read. Maybe this will be the start of something really good and people decide to explore other national literatures. British, French, etc
If I could get 2-3 people who've read works by Latin Americans/Spanairds like Roberto Bolaño to participate, I think the Spanish-language part of this could be covered.
As for the French literature, perhaps the Dumas discussion might have scarred some for life?
