But the real issue is that the readership here doesn't drive much of anything along. Unlike other sites, where the mods are not the main facilitators of most discussions, this site seems to be oriented around the mods. Strange.


I think it's this board in particular. The other boards don't have this problem. And wracking my brains trying to think of what to do differently is coming up with nothing. Nothing, I tell you!

Scowling doesn't help either. No one can see me.

And asking people what they want doesn't help.

Depressing.


Plus I believe this site likely has people who are relatively under-read when it comes to certain subjects. Some then may feel intimidated by someone such as myself or Tom who are well-read in several narrative forms (and languages ). Plus it's much more time-consuming to have to discuss something about a work of literature than it is to talk about what food they had to eat and what color their shit was this morning
