Not to say that for many child molesters, it's not the case.

But also keep in mind that pedophilia and child molestation are NOT the same thing. The two are entirely separate and it's quite possible for them not to include each other in the slightest. You can be a pedophile and never touch a child or engage in any sort of sexual behavior involving children (kiddie porn, etc...) You can be a child molester just for the power of it, but not have a single sexual attraction to the minor involved.

I believe there is also a trend where those who have been molested are more likely to molest and a variety of theories as to why that is.

In any case, I agree with your actual point that sexual feelings are only part of the problem I'm just distracting myself from studying by blabbering.
