Clausen has way better skills and upside than him. It just seems weird considering they just traded for Quinn. Will they cut Orton? Maybe but I think Orton has just as good a shot as Quinn at winning the starting job. Maybe they're going to try and run some odd sets like throwing him in on short and goal because of his size or something. I don't know, just an odd pick though especially given how deep the draft is this year.


So Orton/Quinn will still compete for starting whilst Tebow learns his craft. Everyone seems to think Clausen is too risky in attitude for a 1st round pick, in a weaker year for QBs, maybe he'll prove them wrong but no-one was willing to fork out 1st round money on a guy who could implode. At least with Tebow they know he'll give it his all, and when Bills were going to move up for him, Denver had no choice but to pull the trigger.
