I'm just curious why they blew a first round pick on a Heismann candidate when they already had one. I don't follow college ball because I can't take it seriously, but I did catch TCU vs. Boise State and recall one announcer suggesting Tebow would be an NFL TE. McDaniels continues to confuse and irritate me and I continue to wonder if Denver can finally plug the middle on D. Thank God for Kubiak; I just wish (sort of) he was still in Denver.

The guy has yet to get a fair shot as a starter anywhere....and now it sorta looks like he may not ever get that chance.

Which puts the whole thing in perspective; if that kind of hype were more often than not justified, well, we've got a guy like that who already has the several years pro playbook and game experience Tebow will almost certainly need to be useful. I mean, there have been a few famous cases of guys so phenomenally good you can just throw them out there right after Draft Day and watch them excel, but Florida isn't Stanford and I don't think Tebow is Elway.
