I'm a Winnipegger. Lifelong. I went to the last Jets games before they left for Phoenix, when I was just a young teenager trying to come to grips with the unfairness of losing my team (it seemed really important then). Time and perspective on life has made me realize that it wasn't really a big deal. Still, to hear your comment that nobody will care when they leave... well, that gets in my grits. We had public rallies here! For months! We raised 30 million dollars at the grassroots level, and they still moved them.

I pray that they come back to Canada where they will at least be appreciated.
