Actually, I seem to get as many people posting squirrel links for me to read these days as I'm posting them, so...

1. I once helped a girl who had been raped repeatedly by her biological father over the course of her first 15 years of life to be able to be relaxed and to laugh in the presence of a male in the room, especially that of a male teacher.

2. A severely autistic student of mine once broke through and communicated with me directly for the first time ever after I read a story about autistic students aloud in class after learning that a peer had mocked him in class.
