Having said that, though, she is actually doing more of the "caregiving" and "looking after" than you are, by a fair amount, if you factor in the time overnight that Melissa is sleeping. You have a disproportionate number of overnight sleeping hours. Daytime care hours give you 2 full days, Sat. and Sun., with a few hours a couple of other days a week. She has most of the other 5 days of waking time. That gives her closer to 70%, but still nowhere near 90% of course. It does make her the "primary" caregiver, though.

Otherwise, they'd probably be fairly balanced, if not tilted in his favour as primary. That is, of course, using my sister's as an example. Kids get out of school at 3:30, have a fifteen minute (if that) walk home, and go to bed at 8.
Still, though. Messy divorces are not fun. I was lucky my parents split amicably, and that I was older when it happened. I hope it works out for you. And from what I've read in these last two posts, you would have to have the most idiotic judge for it not to.
