They did have a number of anchors who supported finishing and who supported the surge when those on the left were saying we should cut and run and screaming that the surge was never work. Funny how much criticism Fox gets for right about and how much chest thumping the left continues to do about being wrong.

The first paragraph makes perfect sense except for lacking commas, it's slightly easier to read as "and for saying, if you wanted to know what kind of leader he would be, ask the people he served with, knowing that many of them opposed him".
And then the end of the next paragraph:
"... and screaming that the surge was never gonna work. Funny how much criticism Fox gets for being right about that, and how much chest thumping the left continues to do about being wrong."
