I wish I had more time to help, or a few more widely accessible things to contribute. I HAVE been playing around with a little piece on why fantasy has such strong appeal in a postmodern environment. I still think the greatest help would be a lot more from people we don't all know too well. It's not like all the negative personal histories magically disappeared when the domain name changed. Part of the problem may lie in new threads being reduced to the same old people making the same old expected replies and stirring up the same old arguments. Remember when you actually had to READ my replies to know what I'd say on a subject? There aren't enough people surprising us any more. Of course, to a great extent I think that goes back to what I said at the start: What are we offering to attract those surprising people...?
