There's a world of difference between the ambiguous "I think I might want an attorney" and "I'm not telling you anything until I have my attorney here".

In fact, that's EXACTLY WHAT THE MAJORITY SAID in this case. The first statement is ambiguous and equivocal. The second would not pass the test that a "reasonable police officer" would be confused as to what was meant.

Finally, I'm not sure if you went to a fifth-tier law school, or you are just a moron, but you should learn to spell "research" and research before you type things.

I'm quite content that my reading of this is the correct one, and thankfully, five out of nine justices agree with me.
