Mr.We-should-be-doing-more-offshore-drilling-to-help-the-environment, that was a classic.

You know say something like "hey that is sure looks like a lot of oil you have spewing into the gulf. Would you mind telling me your plans for cleaning it up?"


Private oil companies who a have leases in the gulf, are suppose to have contingency plans for disasters. Gee, I didn't realize it was Government's responsibility to babysit oil companies 24/7, and I thought you guys were against heavy hand of government stifling the poor private industries.

Maybe he could have suggested they start readying all of the containment strategies instead of pull them out one at time as they failed. If nothing else he might not be so clueless about whose ass to kick.


Only BP has the technology and the equipment to do that, it is their responsibility to have this ready since day one. Not that it has really made any sort of a difference considering everyone one of their attempts has failed. BP drilled the damn hole, they should know how to close it.

Y'know, I really wish you could criticize BP a little bit more. Lord knows you criticize Obama for everything else under the sun.
