(and calling this a "leak" is misleading: A leak is when you come out in the morning and find your tire is flat; this is more like a blowout doing 140 kph through the middle of London) they have little more idea than anyone else.
But doing 140 kph (mph would be a better unit to use, since you are talking about a British city) through the middle of London is-
1) highly illegal and likely to end in a lost licence, a hefty fine and prison time.
2) It would also be extremely stupid both legally and health wise.
3) It would be impossible... most people would be delighted to make 14 mph through the middle of London.
So, pretty brain dead comparison when trying to attack a post questioning if BP acted both legally and within what is considered to be the industry norm.... and obviously what they were doing was possible, so clearly they weren't trying to make a pipe out of moonbeams.
I've still not see how BP is 100% responsible for an operation they part owned and other companies had done repair work on. I guess that isn't the point though is it?
