Both sides got some bad calls, but this was the best called of the bunch simply because there were so many fewer. No one got taken out of their game by the refs. Of course, not a lot of the players on the floor could have claimed to be IN their game to begin with.
No matter how you feel about these two teams, this is shaping into an incredible Finals, with both teams giving the other haymakers, and defense rules, which to me is good basketball.
Gotta say, your Lakers have impressed me. I didn't think they had this kind of defense in them.

And I'm certain Kareem, Magic, Russell, Cousy, Havelick, and all those other vets of the old days are in the ears of players on both teams. And yes, while the officiating (outside of the above-mentioned call) was slightly better in this game, at times it gets in the way of good old-fashioned HATE that these teams have for each other. It's living up to 1984, 1985, and 1987 for certain (too young for the 1958-1969 battles). Much rather see Boston win it than to have endured LeBron in the Finals. No way he could grasp what this type of intensity is all about - he doesn't have the heart of a Fisher or Rondo, that's for certain.
