1. Did you vote for President Obama?

I did not vote for Obama to be President of the United States.

2. Do you feel he is knowledgeable about foreign relations?

I feel that he is learning about the topic as time goes by. As per when he started, I do not believe that he had extensive knowledge or learning upon which to draw upon.

3. Are you happy with the way he is handling the "War" that isn't a war in the Iraq and Afghanistan?

No, I am not. During the campaign, he expressed that he would be decisive in doing many different things. So far, I have seen little by way of what he said that he was going to do. I find this "middle of the ground" type thing very....wishy-washy. I'm not a fan of "proportional response" or some such. If you're going to do a job, do it already.

4. Do you feel he has helped or hindered the US's image in the world? Why/How?

I am going to answer with an initial help, but subsequent hindered. I'm getting the feeling that he is viewed as more and more of a joke in international circles. He was praised and honored initially for not being President Bush. Now...I'm getting the feeling that world leaders view him as the popular kid in school...not the smart one.

5. How do you feel he's handled the BP oil spill situation?

I would have liked a more focused response. His "asses to kick" comment really bugged me. What I really didn't like was the BP shake down for that big fund. It smacks of pay offs outside the realm of the law.

6. Do you feel like he has lived up to the hype of his campaign?

Absolutely not. He was supposed to the great savior of America, and he's been anything but. I didn't have high expectations of him to begin with, but he has failed even mine.

7. What do you feel he has done "right" as the President?

What I do like is the symbol of who he is. His family roots speak highly of how far as a nation we have come, but they also bring to the surface of how much farther we have to go. As per when will an individual's race be just another attribute to the individual (like eye color) and not the defining feature of who they are.

8. What do you feel he has completely missed the mark on as president?

Pretty much everything. He's made some pretty big blunders in the little things (interjecting his opinion with that cop thing), and some of his legislation has needed to get through back channels to get approved (health care).

9. Do you believe that we'd be in a full fledged depression if he hadn't pushed through those bail-out and stimulus packages? If no, why not?

You mean we're not in one now? *quasi-serious expression* Unemployment is horrificaly high...cost of living is up. My taxes are going up, yet I get absolutely nothing for it. Those bail-out/stimulus packages pretty much amount to promising to pay off our debt later. Eventually, the price will come due.

10. If you answered YES to #1, and the election were in November, would you vote for Obama again?

It was my very real prayer that he would be better than I thought that he would be. Sadly enough, that has not happened to date. My current prayer is that the Democrats will loose at least one chamber of the legislature...and this will force President Obama to employ a bit of....wisdom....to what he wants to do.
