But my favourite rider in the peleton is Fabian Cancellara.


I think mine is Andy Schleck at the moment. While I approve of Cancellara in general, there is something about him which keeps me from rooting for him.

A few mountain bikers or people with experience came to the fore today, was quite exciting watching it live and waiting for the cobbles, poor Jens Voigt totally buried himself, he was riding like he was collecting plankton near the end.

Franks' crash was what enabled or at least helped in a big way to create the gap, or so i think watching it live, it was getting a bit disjointed the coverage. Geraint Thomas looked very strong which bodes well for Wiggins as a strong partner would really help him.

I feel so sorry for Chavanel having all those mechanical faults and losing the yellow jersey, as he was riding himself up the front and doing well before hand.


I haven't seen much of Schleck apart from Tour of France.

Cancellara just seems to do stuff in the bike races i do see, i'm sure if i saw more of Andy i'd be more of a fan, in the mountains i root for him, but they're all in the same team, add in Voigts and it's a likeable few guys they have.
