Anyone up to talk about music? Quick and easy:
Do you have a favorite band / genre that you listen to?
I like most stuff. I lean towards music played on guitars though - rock and some country and folk stuff.
What are you listening to lately?
The recent albums by Band of Horses, Avi Buffalo, The Avett Brother, Broken Social Scene, The Hold Steady and She and Him.
Why should others listen to it?
'cause they are all good?

I'm kind of a metal head, but listen to a bit of the lighter stuff too. Not one particular favorite band.
Listening to the Volbeat right now. Heard "Still Counting" on my free XM trial and I'm hooked.
Good band, versatile, rock with a metal edge. Check them out if you're into that kind of thing.
I like metal but I find a lot of it to be too samey to me, so I don't listen to it much.
You and Ironclad seem to have similar taste in bands (at the moment). I will check some of these out as well.
Agree, some of the new metal bands can sound the same. I think I've found a mix of some solid bands in the different sub-groups of metal and have a good variety from death, black, nu, etc. I've listened to it long enough to hear differences where most people don't. My wife asked me the other day how I could tell one band from the other!
