I've actually seen the Avett Brothers a few times.

The recent albums by Band of Horses, Avi Buffalo, The Avett Brother, Broken Social Scene, The Hold Steady and She and Him.
Good stuff. I even have the album where that Avett plays with the rest of his brothers
I have always felt the rest of them are holding him back. That is why I pay extra to get the version without them on it
They played a festival we go to, almost annually, called Floyd Fest in Floyd, VA. I go more to people watch, but I get a surprise now and then. Came back one year listening to bluegrass.
