It is messed up though, if the only thing he did was give her a false name.
As it stands though, there is no good legal reason why her name should be released. It really shouldn't be - from a legal point, she is the victim of a serious crime and her identity should be protected as long as that is the case. I would find it amazing if they did release her name at this point.
