And no,it should be an adjective and not a verb (thus "disappointing" is correct). You only use adverbs to describe a verb, and you were describing the flavor of the beverage, not the effectiveness of your tastebuds' biochemical processes.


Ah, yes. You are right of course. For some reason I managed to convince myself it was referring to "tastes".
