1. Would you be offended if someone guessed you were 7 years older than you are?
Probably but usually they think I am a lot younger.
2. Do you think people assume "professionals" have to be older than 24?
I think they would assume most professionals to be out of college. So at least in the mid twenties.
3. What would you do if someone guessed that far off on your age?
I used to get asked if I was still in high school when I was 22. I would tell them nicely that no I was already out of college and they would just look at me a little stunned.
4. Is it better to be perceived as your actual age, or to be perceived as older/more mature? Is it better to be perceived as younger?
I would like to be seen as my actual age, but when I am older I will take the compliments of looking young.
5. I should just get over it, and realize that one guy is bad at guessing ages... right?
Yeah. If his first impression was that you were older he just thought you were really mature.
