But I thought there were other alpha testers (a small number of them) for whom it was problematic transitioning from the alpha to the full site...


I think that this was all to do with passwords used on the alpha being "saved" on the browser and then when the site went live and they signed up again it was using that original (now incorrect) password to login. So they could access the site but not login. I think Mook's problem is slightly different - harsh one!


Yeah, I think I remember people having that issue.
