Re: Don't get too worried. Not every mosque in America is under attack. Take a breath

Lets say that the mosque gets built in TN, with people there that are willing to burn construction equipment, im afraid they might burn the mosque once it is built and god forbid people get hurt in any future incidents. What is this country coming to? Why cant they just let us have a mosque in a place where so many of us live? The Daily Show interview on Thursday with the people leading the effort against the TN mosque doesnt seem that funny now. the lady heading the campaign absolutely positively was convinced the mosque is a terrorist training center, so logically destroying such a place would be the right thing to do wouldnt it? Its too bad no one can talk sense into these people. Im really starting to wonder if Muslims have a future in this country, i certainly hope we do.
We have many, many mosques in Houston that operate just fine, thank you. Can't paint incidents like this with a wide sweep of a brush. America, for the most part, is very tolerant
Im from Houston and i know about our mosques there thank you very much. But i currently live in norwalk now and we are struggling to get permission to build one for the community here. Obviously i know of many great places in this country that are tolerant, but quite a few nowadays are popping up all over the place where they are NOT. I definitely have a reason to be worried and i dont appreciate youre condescending tone. There is a genuine reason for Muslim americans to be concerned over our freedom and ability to build mosques and Islamic centers. And not too far away in Texas a mosque has been vandalized, the same thing has happened in places all over the country, considering what a minority we are in this country incidents like this ARE a reason to be worried, especially with the anti-muslim/anti-mosque sentiments being spewed across this country by the people and politicians. There is definite cause for concern when the Lt. Governor of this same state with the arson tries to de-legitimize Islam a religion all together.

That is quite pitiful. What a douche, I hope the community there turns and supports them. *NM*
