It's funny because if you switch from MSNBC or CNN and start watching CNBC or Bloomberg (I'm just going to avoid mentioning Fox since people assume it is part of a Murdoch-funded right wing conspiracy) you go from people criticizing Obama for being too ineffective to people criticizing Obama for running the economy into the ground. Business people are pretty uniform in explaining how they aren't hiring because taxes are high, the cost of health care for workers just went up due to Obamacare and the government keeps proposing more and more regulation.

Ultimately, if the Republicans push some of the more odious aspects of their social platform, it will mean that we lose opportunities we might have had to live happier, fuller lives. However, if the Democrats push their platform I may get run out of business and have no life at all.
