Listening to people justify why they treat them or think of them like they do. Reading stupid comments on the internet just backed that up. Sorry if you are taking it personally Malkier but there are just too many people that I have heard actually talking like that. If the shoe doesn't fit, then it isn't yours. Don't wear it. I was saying what I said because this shoe does fit an appalling number of people and has for years. It isn't just about the mosque. Your reasons for objecting are valid.
There are far too many people out there willing to generalize. The world is complex and it's just easier for some to make those kinds of conclusions. It's wrong, for sure. But it doesn't make doing the very same thing any less despicable.
