Now, to modernize the site, it's the links on the message board pages which could use a facelift. And a useful adaptation to larger screen sizes... using two rows for links when you don't fill up a third of the first line is a waste of space. Come to think of it, the whole navigation system could use a facelift, as long as we remember the basic rules of style. No drawn elves and/or dwarfs. No flashy animations. Do not respect that young people of today has a two second attention span.
