Orthodox Christmas falls on January 7. I don't and won't take anything down until after that. However, are you inferring that January 21 is the final date for Christmas decorations?
So whichever Christmas you prefer is fine. But you only get one.
As long as the corresponding beginning of the allowable time window is observed, then I have no problem with that (though I'd prefer January 14th as I believe I mentioned).
