Oh man, GORE, you know. Something bloody and cheesy; Friday 13th, Scream - or, all time favourite: Freddy vs Jason. Zombies are good, too, of course.
Heavy dramas as well, though.
Music of choice?
Tends to be melancholic. Getting into Recoil now.
Activities?
Books and movies. More solitude and calm. Which means more writing, too.
Anything I'm missing? (for example, reading poetry with the family is definitely a fall/holiday/winter thing for me.)
I don't know; I think it's a good time of the year to find new music. Maybe because it's starting to get really dark, and it's somehow easier to sit and listen when the sun's not up there to make you feel like you should be running around instead of just sitting there.
