Like I said, I understand what you're saying and i agree that the fire department has to do something...but just sitting by while a family's livelihood is turned to ash and 4 living creatures died a horrible horrible death? I refuse to let that be "deserved" or "a necessary sacrifice". It's wrong, period and end, even if it's "Reasonable".

blagh. if the fire department wanted to keep people from only paying when they had a fire, they should not have responded the first time this family called. Even if it was the man who forgot, they still have a hand in this that's all their own.
