Think that they should be able to tell everyone else how to live their lives.

In fairness, in the past, there have been problems with polygamous groups largely due to various sorts of child abuse/pedophilia and forcing people to do things they didn't want to.

Those elements are, of course, very bad. But they occur in a lot of cult settings where polygamy isn't practiced too.

As long as everyone is adult and honestly consenting, let them the hell alone!
