I don't want social issues being the reason anyone gets elected

I am more a social liberal than a social conservative so I don't like it when the right does it either. I used to live in Dick Armey’s district and voted against every year for that reason. If you have some bizarre and way outside the main stream beliefs I want to know about it but beyond that I just want you to leave social issues alone at the federal level. They have enough to worry about as it is.
I may not hate Bush like some here do but I did like him using the gay marriage issue to increase turnout of social conservatives. I think people have the right oppose gay marriage even if I think they are wrong but I don’t like to see either side using it as a wedge issue and I don’t like to national parties manipulating local elections.
This guy Buck may be a complete wanker, I really don't know much about him, but I could careless about his views on how someone becomes a homosexual.

So, Ken Buck, if it's like alcoholism, does that mean they are addicted to....ummm?

I suspect people who think it's a choice have made a choice, meaning they're naturally bisexual.
