They were weird snoopcester Send a noteboard - 30/08/2009 06:46:03 PM
I'm just trying to figure out if it was just me or if they really do talk that strangely.

They sounded to me like a cross between Americans and West Country farmers from England. It was the way they pronounced the vowels, everything else was a normalish American accent except when they hit an "a" or a "o" when they switched to an English farmer accent.

Robert Graves "There is no money in poetry, but then there is no poetry in money, either."

Henning Mankell "We must defend the open society, because if we start locking our doors, if we let fear decide, the person who committed the act of terror will win"
