When I first heard about wikileaks a few years ago, I had thought it was supposed to be about identifying corruption, fraud, and general malfeasance in the political arena... ala Watergate, etc. I haven't seen any of that recently, just some raw data corroborating what we already know that's been published with spite as its foremost agenda. All this stuff in the last few months is because some dumb fuck of an Army intel analyst acted like the dumb fuck he is and got demoted for it so downloaded a bunch of stuff and threw it out there on the intarwebz because he wants to be some kind of hero to the "oppressed".
